Addiction is a family disease, which means it affects many more people than just the person with the substance use disorder. That's why everyone who is touched by addiction should work on their own recovery. To help with that, FAN is proud to be co-hosting the Families Recovering Out Loud Conference on Saturday, October 28th, at Macomb Community College's South Campus. Presented by FAN, Skywood Recovery, and NAMI Michigan, this conference will be a transformative gathering designed specifically for families in the process of healing. It will provide a unique blend of expert-guided workshops, empathetic peer connections, and insightful personal narratives. This FREE event runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and includes lunch.
