HIDTA Training

Families Against Narcotics has developed a comprehensive law enforcement training curriculum around substance use as part of our newly awarded High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) grant. This training will focus on addressing best practices among law enforcement related to substance use disorder, addressing the stigma of addiction, and stories learned along the way. By including Families Against Narcotics' program data and public health data, law enforcement will be able to dive into the data to explore outcomes and gain insights into where they can focus their efforts to have the largest impact.

Intended Audience: Law enforcement and people in related legal careers. These trainings are certified by the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES).

Training sessions are free of charge and are scheduled for 2 hours. If you are interested in hosting a training at your Police Department or Agency, please contact Sofia at sofia@familiesagainstnarcotics.org.

QRT Training: As part of FAN's HIDTA grant, we are also able to offer a number of COMEBACK Quick Response Team (QRT) trainings at no cost. For more information on those sessions, CLICK HERE.
